- Synopsis
- Radio play by David Pownall, directed by Eoin O’Callaghan. Set in England in 1610, an historical fiction about the publication of the King James I’s new Bible. It tells the story of how the King (Hugh Ross), informed by Shakespeare (Edward Petherbridge) that the inclusion of the Revelation of St John will lead to revolution, travels to Oxford in order to prevent this part of the Bible from being published. Shakespeare, meanwhile, decides to write one last play...
