Carnival
- Synopsis
- Feature film. Simonetta, the wife of the celebrated Italian actor Silvio Steno, spends time with his best friend Scipione while Steno prepares for a production of Othello. Simonetta and Scipione go to the Venice Carnival together and Steno becomes jealous. During the production Steno becomes so intensely jealous that he almost strangles Desdemona, played by his wife. As she recovers she tells him that she renounced Scipione’s amorous advances and they are reconciled. Includes several scenes from Othello.
