Synopsis

Illustrative excerpts from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet are performed by actors from the ‘Theater Junge Generation’ (Theatre of the Young Generation) Dresden. Theatre director Axel Richter talks about the theatre business during Shakespeare’s time and the challenges of adapting Shakespeare for a modern stage.
