- Radio broadcast. As part of a series of 26 weekly programmes "designed as an anthology of the best-known and best-loved speeches and scenes" from Shakespeare’s better known plays, this episode (17) showcases ‘the best of’ As You Like It. Excerpts broadcast are taken from a 1944 BBC production with Michael Redgrave as Orlando and Edith Evans as Rosalind (see separate entry).

- According to the programme notes in London Calling, more than half of the programmes were produced specially for the General Overseas Service, while the rest is taken from ‘classic’ BBC productions of the previous 20 years (London Calling, April 1964, 3: 13, p. 4).
