- Synopsis
- Radio broadcast for schools. As part of this series of talks, two Shakespeare plays are used as the basis of an English literature lesson for 12-14 year old pupils: The Merchant of Venice and Julius Caesar. In the five sessions (one for each act) that are devoted to each play, the discussion focuses on character, plot, genre, analysis dramatic skill and historic background.
