Synopsis
Radio version of Shakespeare’s play, arranged and produced in stereo by Raymond Raikes. With Malcolm Hayes as Oberon and Madi Hedd as Titania. The incidental music composed by Anthony Bernard uses a fragment of an Elizabethan melody, ‘Heartsease’ in music for Titania and Oberon while the music for the clowns is based on an old English folk tune. Rae Jenkins conducts the BBC Welsh Orchestra.
