The production was broadcast in two parts - Acts I & II 19.55-21:20 and Acts 3&4 21:40-23.00. The interval item is THE THREE MACBETHS (catalogued separately) in which Tom Rosenthal looks at the differences between the music and librettos in the version of Macbeth which Verdi wrote in 1847 (this version) and in the 1865 Paris version.
