Synopsis
Radio broadcast. Baz Luhrmann’s WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S ROMEO + JULIET is set on Verona Beach. In addition to original music by Craig Armstrong and Marius De Vries, the soundtrack features contemporary pop music by groups such as The Cardigans. Verity Sharp investigates the thinking behind the use of music in the film.
