Balanchine Continued at Pacific Northwest Ballet

Synopsis
Lourdes López moderates a panel discussion with Francia Russell and Kent Stowell, co-artistic directors of the Pacific Northwest Ballet. López provides an introduction and history of the Pacific Northwest Ballet and Russell and Stowell talk about what the Balanchine legacy means to each of them. Included in the videorecording are excerpts from Balanchine’s ballet A Midsummer Nights Dream (Act II, Divertissement) and Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet (Bedroom pas de deux) choreographed by Stowell. Both sequences are danced by Louise Nadeau and Christophe Maraval.
