Muppet Show, The [22/01/1978]

Synopsis
This edition includes an episode of Veterinarian Hospital (a parody of a soap opera) enacted by Miss Piggy and others which contains appalling Shakespearean puns and references throughout e.g. NURSE PIGGY: Look at the time!. DR. BOB: Hey - the timing of the shrew! The episode is also noted for the guest appearance of Rudolf Nureyev who dances ‘Swine Lake’ with Miss Piggy (performed by Graham Fletcher), takes a sauna with an amorous Miss Piggy and duets with her in a heartfelt rendition of ‘Baby, it’s cold outside’, and dances a tap solo in the manner of Fred Astaire.
