- Synopsis
- A DEFA feature film about a childhood friendship that turns into first love. The blossoming love between 14-year old Karoline (Kareen Schröter) and 15-year old Robert (Harald Rathmann) is hampered by the strict morals and routines of the holiday camp that both are visiting. They get a chance to act out their emotions and to articulate the difficulty of their situation when they are cast as lead in the camp’s production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
