Synopsis
Radio play written by Henry Reed and produced for broadcasting by Douglas Cleverdon. Set in Italy in 1593, this dramatic speculation sends William Shakespeare (Marius Goring) to Ferrara, Verona, Padua, Venice, and Mantua in the early 1590s and has him involved with a brilliant commedia dell’arte troupe, the Gelosi. Narrated by Henry Reed.
