Front Row [16/12/2008]

Synopsis
Radio arts review programme presented by Mark Lawson. A BUNCH OF AMATEURS, a British film comedy, opens this week with Burt Reynolds playing a washed-up Hollywood action star who finds himself playing the title role in a production of King Lear with an amateur dramatic group in a Suffolk village. In a c5 minute item Daniel Rosenthal speaks of the film as being the latest in a long line of movies about actors putting on a Shakespeare play and finding their own lives reflected in the roles.
