- History
- The play grew from a series of workshops in the summer of 1993 with a single performance given before an invited audience in August 1993 at the Old Soho Laundry in London. The production was given a first full performance at Sutton Valance School in Kent on 28th April 1994 and subsequently toured England and Wales and played in school gyms, redundant churches, arts centres, castle and theatre. The production was seen at Prague’s Labyrint Theatre in July and August 1994 and at The Link Theatre London in September 1995. It then continued on tour finishing in the UK at Deal Castle before going to the Theatre in the Hand Festival in Glasov in Russia’s Udmurt Republic.
