- Synopsis
- Radio magazine programme. Steve Evans presents the show and discusses the recent political scandal of MP’s expense claims in view of what Shakespeare would have made of them. RSC actor Sam Troughton, currently playing Brutus at Stratford-upon-Avon, discusses with MP Frank Dobson about which play best mirrored the situation, coming up with a "hitherto unknown play" made up of lines from, among others, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, King Lear and Hamlet.
Katie Hopkins, Lord Adebowale and Professor David Crystal review the papers. - Series
