Double, Double Toil and Trouble
- Synopsis
- Radio commercial for Specsavers, the biggest optical retailer in the UK. The three witches, reciting lines from the witches spell in Macbeth IV i ("Double, double toil and trouble") inform the approaching Macbeth that they are trying to conjure up a pair of glasses, the prices being so high these days. Macbeth replies that they should have gone to Specsavers, where he bought a pair for just ... pounds. The witches pity Macbeth for wasting money since, as they inform him, he will get his head chopped off anyway.
