Synopsis
Educational DVD discussing screen adaptations of Romeo and Juliet aimed at KS3 and KS4. Each two-disc pack features a DVD of film extracts with an accompanying CD-ROM of Activity and Context Sheets alongside film stills and posters for analysis, plus full teachers’ notes. Extracts on DVD are: 1905 (Vitagraph), 1936 (Cukor), 1954 (Castellani) and 1968 (Zeffirelli) with additional online study materials guiding students towards a critical viewing of Baz Lurhmann’s 1996 film version.
