- Synopsis
- A western dance version of Romeo and Juliet set in Montana Territory, 1869 and danced by the Yellowstone Ballet Company. Choreography by Kathleen Rakela. With Jared Nelson as Romeo and Tricia Sundbeck as Juliet. Romeo is a white soldier and Juliet is a Native American girl, the daughter of the Chief of the Blackfoot Tribe. The music ranges from Rachmaninov and Wagner to modern composers Peter Kater and Bruce Kurnow.
