- Synopsis
- Reporter Elizabeth Kendrick interviews Paul Robeson and Mary Ure at the Stratford Memorial Theatre where they are about to open the season with Othello. Robeson and Mary Ure are in costume being interviewed during a dress rehearsal. Robeson says this is the third time he has played the role and speaks of the beauty of the Warwickshire countryside. Mary Ure praises director Tony Richardson (who had directed her in the film of John Osborne’s’Look Back In Anger’) saying he is just as ‘vivid and exciting’.
