Romeo and Juliet Three Versions

Synopsis
Narrative ballet in one act, based on Shakespeare’s play. It is a blend of three versions of three different arts all dealing with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet: as ballet with Nora Kaye and Hugh Laing dancing Anthony Tudor’s choreography; as music with Alice Howland, and John McCollum singing Berlioz’ stand up rendition of key scenes; and as the original drama with Bryarly Lee and Stephen Joyce. Emanuel Vardi conducts an off-stage orchestra. 1957
