China Magnolia
- Synopsis
- Animation students from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London created a series of short films exploring Shakespeare through animation made for a Royal Shakespeare Company exhibition called Devices and Disguises which was produced for the London 2012 Festival. This interpretation, based on Viola and Orsino, is about a girl who, in an attempt to hide her love for a lord, disguises herself as a boatman and rows him across a lake. The story takes place on the painted surface of a blue and white china plate.
