- Synopsis
- Educational film. A team of four actors/teachers run one-day courses at the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) custom-built theatre, the Cockpit, for children studying O level English literature. The film shows one such course on Macbeth inter-cutting scenes of the play, enacted by teachers, with improvisation exercises designed to illuminate themes in the play such as loyalty, hesitation and persuasion.
