Secrets and Whispers
- Synopsis
- Radio broadcast. Series in which Fiona Shaw tries to recreate the sounds of England during Shakespeare’s time. Princes and ambassadors may expect a private audience at the court of Queen Elizabeth, but lesser nobles might have to wait for a glimpse of the monarch as she went to dinner or chapel. Shaw speculates on the kind of sounds such visitors might have.
