Synopsis
Video recording of Ong Keng Sen’s interpretation of King Lear bringing together artists from Japan, Thailand, China and Indonesia. The production incorporates different performing genres where actors play against each other - Lear is played by a Noh master, Goneril played by a Dan master in Jingui (Beijing Opera) and Cordelia by a Tai actress.
