Released on DVD (NTSC Region 0) in 2015 with a running time of 83 minutes. DVD extras include a 60-minute film, SHAKESPEARE IN PRACTICE featuring actors and practitioners at London’s National Theatre Studio. Extracts from Shakespeare’s works including Sonnets, As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet are accompanied by commentary by Ian McKellen, Bonnie Greer, Fiona Shaw, Peter Gill, Brian Cox, Derek Jacobi, Henry Goodman, and co-founder of the RSC, John Barton.
General
The TV version, also presented on YouTube, is a shorter version of the film, which runs 83 minutes as released on DVD and iTunes. The YouTube presentation is the same as the shorter TV version but appears under the additional title: ‘Overcoming Our Fear Of Shakespeare’.
