- Radio broadcast. When asked about his Piano Sonata, Beethoven is said to have remarked "Just read Shakespeare’s The Tempest". Ashley Wass performs a morning concert of piano music inspired by Shakespeare including Macbeth and the Witches by Smetana; pieces from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet and Beethoven’s Piano Sonata Op. 31, No. 2, (The Tempest).
