The Prince of Denmark
- Synopsis
- In this contemporary drama "vaguely inspired by Hamlet", the old tragedy gets the comic treatment.
A young Hamlet heads home to the Prince of Denmark pub after leaving University. His father, the owner has died and Hamlet wishes to attend his funeral. Unfortunately, his plans are destroyed by the sudden revelation that his mother has already remarried.
Hamlet is visited by the ghost of his father who claims to have been poisoned by his wife’s new husband. When Hamlet discovers incriminating selfies on a mobile phone, he engages his stepfather in a duel over a deadly, lasagne supper. - Series
