- Synopsis
- In 11th century Scotland, Macbeth sees off a Norwegian invasion and sets of with his friend and fellow soldier, Banquo, to bring the good news to the King.
On the way, they encounter three Weird Sisters who prophesy that Macbeth will become Thane of Cawdor and eventually the King of Scotland. There is good news for Banquo too as the sisters reveal that his descendants will be Kings. Before the two men can interrogate them further, the Weird Sisters disappear. - Series
