Maker of Demons

Synopsis
This audio drama is a continuation of the television series Doctor Who, with Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred and Bonnie Langford returning to the roles of the Doctor and his companions Ace and Mel. In this adventure - a pastiche of Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ - they have to deal with the the results of a previous intervention by the Doctor on the planet Prosper when he brokered a peace between the native Mogera and humans from the colony ship The Duke of Milan. But a century later, when the Doctor returns with his companions, he finds a world at war over a mineral ore named ‘Doctorium’ by the Doctor. The previously sweet-natured Mogera have mutated into murderous monsters, ruled by General Caliban. It eventually transpires that the genetic mutation was engineered by the humans, whose leader masquerades as Caliban.
