Olivier Had It Wrong: Shakespeare’s Original Pronunciation

Synopsis
An interview hosted by Kurt Andersen with linguistic scholar David Crystal and his actor son Ben. They discuss what they term OP (Original Pronunciation) in Shakespeare, which they have recreated. They now advise theatre companies who wish to perform Shakespeare plays in an approximation of how the language would have been spoken in the original productions.
