- Synopsis
- Recording of a lecture / performance by actor Andrew Jarvis, the organiser of the King’s Lynn festival, with musical accompaniment from the Easy Anglian Renaissance Consort. It begins with the ‘All the World’s a Stage’ speech from As You Like It. Also includes a selection from The Tempest, performances of several sonnets (including 2, 12 and 138), Oberon’s speeches (Act 2 Scene 1) from A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream. The second act includes speeches from Richard II, Hamlet, Henry V and Henry VI (part 3). The third Act includes scenes from King Lear and Macbeth.
