Generations
- Synopsis
- Podcast from Shakespeare’s Globe hosted by Imogen Greenberg. A look behind the scenes at the Globe’s production of Macbeth (part of their Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank series), which has been pared down to 90 minutes and is specially aimed as teenagers, with thousands of tickets made available for free to state schools. The podcast looks at how such work can help open dialogue between different generations. In this production both Lady Macbeth and Lady Macduff are pregnant to further focus the production’s emphasis on family, inheritance and lineage.
