Shakespeare Connection, The
- Synopsis
- William Shatner, with tongue in cheek, hosts this documentary that revisits the treasure hunts undertaken by brothers Marty and Rick Lagina on Oak Island in Nova Scotia. If Shakespeare’s plays were in fact written by Francis Bacon, could some of his papers be buried on the island? Other participants in the programme include Dr Katy Mair (National Archives), Muriel C. McClendon (UCLA), Peter Dawkins (Francis Bacon Research Trust). The results prove to be inconclusive.
