Tempest, The
- Synopsis
- The last in a weekly live stream project by Rob Myles to present all of Shakespeare’s plays in the order in which it is thought they were originally written. This was the thirty-sixth production (neither Pericles nor Two Noble Kinsmen were included as part of the project). Using the Zoom video conferencing platform, it brings together many actors currently unable to travel and perform due to the Coronavirus crisis.
Ruben Espinosa (University of Texas at El Paso) introduces the play, focusing on themes of racial justice, before the performance begins.
