- Radio Documentary. Greg Doran, Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, looks at the impact that the plague had on the life and work of William Shakespeare, focusing in particular on how this may have affected the ending of his play, King Lear. With contributions from Professor James Shapiro, Professor Emma Smith, Roz Sklar and Amy Hurst of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and Professor Miri Rubin.
