Chicago Slam 2020: Hamlet
- Synopsis
- Recording of the high spirited and visually inventive production of Hamlet created as part of the Chicago Shakespeare Slam, a collaborative student event that went online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Students from different high schools perform assigned scenes, which include designated sections to be performed as dance and with colour coding used to determine the character as the performer may change from scene to scene. Hamlet appears in black, Ophelia in blue, Polonius in grey, etc. It was performed twice, with different casts, on 13 and 14 January 2021.
