- Synopsis
- Local access video discussion series hosted by Rick Winston and Bill Morancy. In this edition Rick explores his favourite film adaptations of Shakespeare’s Hamlet with theatre director Joanne Greenberg. The versions discussed are the 1948 film directed by Sir Laurence Olivier; Kenneth Branagh’s 1996 movie; Franco Zefferelli’s version with Mel Gibson (1990); Grigori Kozintsev’s Russian-language version from 1964; and Michael Almereyda’s modern-day adaptation starring Ethan Hawke (2000).
