Last Generation, The
- Synopsis
- Towards the end of the episode, when all villains who have attempted to take over Starfleet are apparently defeated, Admiral Picard (Patrick Stewart) shares a drink with his crew and provides a toast by quoting from Brutus in Act 4 Scene 3 of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar:
"There is a tide in the affairs of men,
which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures." - Series
