- Brian Milligan reports from the streets of Los Angeles where the police have a war on their hands. In the notorious south central district of the city theyre out-numbered and out-gunned by the violent street gangs. Hundreds of innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire. Kids at the age of nine or less join one of 250 mainly black or hispanic gangs and have gun battles every night. The gang members identify themselves by the colours they wear, their graffitti tags and by their own forms of sign language.
