- Date
- 1988
- Description
- The American baritone saxophonist and band leader Gerry Mulligan in conversation with Keith Howell, during his visit to Britain in July 1986. Gerry talks about his association with composer Gil Evans and pays tribute to trumpeter Chet Baker, both of whom died earlier this year (1986). The conversation is illustrated by some of Mulligans earlier recordings, which have just been re-issued in Europe, and an extract from his latest album recorded with the Houston Symphony Orchestra.
