This programme tells the story of how a young heroin addict was found dead in a bed-sit from an overdose of a drug that was so powerful it killed him within seconds. It also examines the efforts being made by police, customs and Government to combat the growing heroin problem. The programme includes interviews with the dead boy’s parents, who launched a campaign to find the pusher who supplied their son, with the chief customs investigator and Home Office Minister David Mellor.
