Summary
Italian labour working for the Army. Being handed work permits and at work laying railway lines. They are later paid out by allied soldiers and a closer look at the money reveals it to be lire notes printed with the four freedoms. On the Italian front soldiers move through thick mud and slush. Montgomery outside his famous caravan chats to correspondents, and puts up his umbrella when rain starts to fall.
