Summary
Liberation forces push forward and all roads point towards Paris. British armour advances on the town of Aunay-sur-Odon followed closely by infantrymen. The Germans put up some offensive but our artillery moves up to take a hand. Flail tanks at work clearing minefields. On the Brittany Peninsular the Germans reap their just reward as the advance sweeps on. In the Easter sector of the Normandy front General Montgomery confers with Canadian Commander, General Crerar.
