Summary

Round 15 and the last in the British Heavyweight Championship between Freddie Mills and Jack London at Belle Vue, Manchester. At the fight’s end the verdict goes to Jack London who wins on points. The St Leger at Newmarket won by second favourite "Tehran" ridden by Gordon Richards and owned by the Aga Khan.
