- Summary
- Dutch children arrive for three months stay in England. They are among the first batch of refugee children to arrive here for convalescence. They firstly undergo a medical check-up and de-lousing before boarding train en route for England. They wave Dutch flags and sing "It’s a long way to Tipperary" in Dutch and are seen on board boat. On arrival they disembark and then go on to Coventry where two of them are cared for by a woman who baths them and puts them to bed.
