Summary
Lancaster aircraft "Aries" back home after record-making flight over the North Pole. Wing Commander McKinley and a hand-picked crew of eleven have studied navigation under Polar conditions when compasses and ordinary navigation gear go haywire. The team charted the true position of the North Pole for the first time.
