- Captain Gehres of the US aircraft carrier "Franklyn" tells the story of the repeated bombings by Japanese planes. Story shows general scenes on the Franklyn when it was bombed - explosions - fire-fighting - wounded being tended - ship’s Padre Father O’Callahan administering last rites - sailors jumping from "Franklyn" to rescue ship - Franklyn at sea after the fires have been put out, still upright.
