Summary
First and exclusive pictures of Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge, centre of research into atomic power. A "heavy water" plant in Norway which was discovered by Secret Service agents and upon which a commando raid was launched. Map of 4 square mile area of London equivalent to that destroyed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Sir John Anderson, who supervised British research on the atomic bomb, speaking - backgrounded by film of Cambridge laboratory, oil wells, Battersea power station, coal mine, Boulder Dam, eclipse of the sun.
