- Summary
- At Olympia, 11,000 men a day are being demobbed. Over the radio comes the voice of Labour Minister George Isaacs announcing details of the big speed up. Sound interviews with:- Ex-Flight Lieutenant Nolde, DFC now bus conductor on route 16. Ex-Wren Petty Officer Robshaw (Miss Pinnock) now saleswoman at big east end store, and Sergeant Majors Hayes and Harris now Council dustmen. Story ends with ex-servicemen back to routine of home life and the morning rush to the office.
