MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Nazi Airmen’s Funeral. DESCRIPTION: At Portobello near Edinburgh two Nazi Airmen, shot down during a raid on the Firth of Forth, are given a military funeral. SHOTLIST: At Portobello, the two German airmen Unter-Offizier Seydel and Flieger Schleicher are buried. Their coffins are borne through the streets wrapped in a Nazi flag. RAF men are present at the funeral and a salute is fired as the coffin is lowered.
